According to Frances Bradburn . . .

“You can do anything you want to move to future-ready schools? But why would you do anything other than the research-based and time-tested IMPACT model?”

What is the difference between IMPACT schools and traditional schools?

  • The Teaching
  • The Tools
  • The Collaboration and Professional Development
  • The Whole School Reform

The goal for 21C schools is that students are globally competitive, globally passionate lifelong learners who respect themselves and their surrounding world.

(Frances is the Section Chief for Instructional Technology at the NC Department of Public Instruction. Instructional Technology is now housed under Innovation and School Reform headed by Associate Superintendent Robert Logan. Frances delivered her “elevator speech” at the opening session of the August Workshop in Jacksonville, NC on Aug 9, 2007.)
